Mike Sommerfeld has done it! The German Classic Physique athlete secured the title of the Arnold Classic 2025 Classic Physique and thereby made a strong statement in the bodybuilding world. With his perfect mix of symmetry, muscle quality and stage presence, he was able to impress the jury and the fans alike.

Mike Sommerfeld takes the win
Sommerfeld secured second place behind Chris Bumstead at the Olympia and thus moved into the spotlight in the Classic Physique. With Bumstead's retirement, he sensed the opportunity to get to the top. After the preliminary decision on Friday, he was one of the top favorites along with Franklin and Matthew Greggo.
The Classic Physique attracts promising young talents every year and the young generation has impressively proven that they are shaping the future of the class. Franklin and Greggo fought hard for the title and both made it into the top three.

Wesley Vissers was one of the favorites as the reigning Classic Physique champion, but he was unable to defend his title. In this competition he had to admit defeat to the strong competition from Sommerfeld, Franklin and Greggo. His placement fell behind the top spots, which cleared the way for a new champion in Classic Physique.
